BSI HSG Cannula Without lock. Used for the delivery of contract media or saline into the uterine cavity during hysterosalpingography (HSG) or son hysterography for examination of the uterus and fallopian tubes. The cannula is designed for patients with a stenotic external and a narrow cervical canal. HSG allows your doctor to more accurately investigate the shape of the fallopian tubes and uterine cavity by inserting a radio-opaque material, often a dye, into the cervical canal.
